She helped found and develop Wharton’s Corporate Governance: Fresh Insights and Best Practices for Directors program. A recognized expert on governance topics she is regularly quoted in The New York Times, Financial Times, BusinessWeek, Time Magazine and The Wall Street Journal.
Julie consults with corporate boards, working with companies of all sizes from the Fortune 10 to pre-IPO companies and has worked on over 850 director assignments. Her recent work includes recruiting outside directors for AOL, Delta Air Lines, Fannie Mae, Global Hyatt, The Home Depot and State Street. She serves on the board of directors of Spencer Stuart, Citymeals on Wheels and The James Beard Foundation and as a Commissioner for the Women's Refugee Commission.
